João Silva

João is a Partner at Bondstone Ventures. Before he was Investment Director at Buenavista Equity Partners, where he led the investment and portfolio management function. There he executed 20+ investments in different jurisdictions totalling +€50 million, from Pre-Seed to Growth stage, across DeepTech, CleanTech, Health and FinTech. He also served on the boards of several portfolio companies. Prior to that, he worked in private equity at Norfin, and in banking with Afrika Financial Group in Lisbon and Dakar. João is a CFA charterholder. He has a BSc in Engineering Physics from Técnico Lisboa, a dual-degree MSc in Energy Engineering and Management (Técnico Lisboa / UPC) and an MSc in Finance from Católica-Lisbon.
